  SHIVA SAMKALPAM STOTRAM In bharath culture and technology before doing any work there is done a shiva sangkalpa of what is to be done. Creating it in imagination before doing it in actual reality. It is done after the opening invocations.   GURU POOJA SALUTATIONS TO THE GURU     In Bharath, before stating any work we offer salutations to the guru/ invoke guru thathvam in us to guide us to doing what is good for us in a given situation of life especially if it is a significant work of life aka what is called as spiritual work. It is the guru in material world that gives us this guru thathvam and through him we realize the the Supreme lord who gets into teaching mode in the guru thathvam.
