GURUVAYUR TEMPLE: AN EXPLORATION OF TEMPLE SCIENCE OF THE AREA.

 After entering the garbha griha  and making the first dharshan of the Guruvayurappan deity wherein he/she surrenders all his worries and sankalpas for the lord to work upon, the shradalu goes near Ganapati shrine where he offers all his obstacles that is attached to him and receives the brain power, opposte to which a devi shrine is placed of Devi in Saraswati form where he surrenders his ego and gains knowledge and vidhya for the future.
